How Phase 2 Works:

Here are updated versions emphasizing that the entire group will perform the dance piece together as a group immediately following the workshops:

Option 1: Clear & Structured (Recommended for Official Rules)

Nritya Tarang Phase 2 Overview:

• Mentorship & Group Performance: Dancers will collaborate with a mentor across 3 virtual sessions and 1 in-person session to learn a dedicated choreography—and will perform the piece immediately as a group following the workshops!

• Winner Selection: One solo winner will be selected from each group based on the group performance. In case of a tie, Phase 1 rankings will serve as the tie-breaker.

• Judging Criteria: Evaluated on learning pace, adaptability, overall presentation, and the personal artistry they bring to the dance.

• Awards & Recognition:

  • Solo Winner: Awarded the Nritya Tara Title Trophy + a solo performance spot in the showcase to present any traditional piece they have previously learned (detailed requirements will be shared with the winner).

  • All Group Participants: Awarded a Nritya Tarang Participant Trophy!
