Bharatanatyam Video Submission Instructions:

Orientation: Landscape (horizontal)

Costume:

Full bharatanatyam costume or practice saree with light makeup and jewelry.

Content:

1. Introduction (1 minute):

   • Introduce yourself with your full name.

   • Mention your Guru(s) name(s).

   • Briefly state the Bharatanatyam style (Bani) you practice.

2. Details of the dance item (1 minute):
   Explain the details of the item you are dancing (Name, Ragam, Talam, Composer)

3. Performance Video (8-10 minutes):
   Showcase your performance (consisting of both Nritta and Abhinaya) for 8-10 minutes.
   This can be a Keerthanam or part of a varnam.
   Important: The video must be a new recording specifically for this competition. Recordings from previous events will not be accepted.

4. Upload the video to youtube with ‘Unlisted’ privacy setting. This means only people with the link can view the video.

Notes:

• Video can be recorded at home but it has to be a new recording recorded for this event

• Ensure the video and audio quality are clear throughout the submission

• Feel free to edit the video for transitions and smooth flow between sections.
